  • Airport pick-up and 1-hour bus transfer to Ollantaytambo
  • Lunch en route to Ollantaytambo
  • Full Group Learning Session: Group Values and Personal Goals
  • Full Group Learning Session: AMPing Up!
  • Full group - Welcome dinner and orientation
  • Stay at Quechua’s Lodge in Ollantaytambo

  • Afternoon meet and greet with homestay families
  • Full Group: Evening Despacho ceremony by local Quechua shaman

Friday, June 7th 
  • Morning visit to Patacancha - weaving cooperative project
  • Lunch in Patacancha
  • Full group overnight trek over high passes into the high altiplano region above Sacred Valley.
  • Camp high in Andes

Saturday, June 8th
  • Hike down Yuracmayo Valley past Pumamarca ruins
  • Arrive back to Ollantaytambo
  • Dinner in Ollantaytambo
  • Stay with homestay families

Sunday, June 9th  
  • Full Group Learning Session: Walking Together  (full day with homestay family)
  • Stay with homestay families

Monday, June 10th
  • Community Project: Recycling Project in Ollantaytambo
  • Attend community celebrations with homestay families
  • Afternoon WLS Learning Session: Golden Thread  
  • Eat dinner and stay with homestay families

Tuesday, June 11th
  • Rise at dawn to see Machu Picchu
  • Early tour of historical sanctuary
  • Hike around Machu Picchu (possible hikes - Sun Gate or Temple of the Moon)
  • Learning Session: Finding Your Inner Leader
  • Late afternoon train back to Ollantaytambo
  • Stay with homestay families

Wednesday, June 12th
  • Full Group Morning Learning Session: GOOD Action
  • Guinea pig and pachamanca “earth oven” celebration with host families
  • Project dedication ceremony
  • Learning Session: Candle Circle
  • Final night with homestay families

Thursday, June 13th
  • Morning transfer to Cusco
  • Lunch en route
  • Evening flight to Lima
  • Overnight flight back to the U.S.

Friday, June 14th
  • Late morning arrival in Denver
