  • Full-day kayaking around the Chesapeake Bay with environmental modules throughout the day with lunch on the Bay at Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center
    • Environmental Education modules may include seine net discoveries, marsh mucking, oyster cage critter identification, etc.
  • Learning Sessions: Finding Your Inner Leader 
  • Dinner and stay at Pecometh Retreat Center​
Thursday, October 7th
  • Morning environmental service learning project at Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center
  • Lunch at Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center
  • Transfer to Washington, DC
  • Afternoon visit to National Museum of African American History and Culture
  • Dinner and Stay at Hyatt Place in Washington, DC 

Friday, October 8th
  • Morning bike tour around the US Capitol and other sites
  • Lunch at the Washington Monument
  • Afternoon visit to the US Holocaust Memorial Museum 
  • Dinner in Chinatown
  • Pre-season hockey game: Washington Capitals v Philadelphia Flyers
  • Stay at Hyatt Place in Washington, DC 

Saturday, October 9th 
  • Transfer to Old Town Alexandria, VA
  • Lunch in Old Town and explore Old Town
  • Mid-afternoon transfer to DCA airport
  • Evening departure to Aspen, Colorado
